Bird's Eye Views from Kristiansten Fort
Kristiansten Fort is quite historic and was built in the 1680s, to defend Trondheim against the possible threat posed by the Swedes. The fortress itself was nice enough and a bit of a climb to get here, but the best bit for me without a doubt were the views.

The Bicycle Lift in Trondheim
This natty gadget must have been the invention of someone with a bit of imagination. If you are on a bike and want to go up Brubakken Hill, to the Kristiansten Fort, you can hook for bike up to this and get transported all the way to the top without even having to pedal. Genius. You will need a keycard from the tourist office if you want to use it. Quite an experience and such a clever idea.

Kristiansten Fort
The fortress was built following the great fire of 1681 and was instrumental in defending the city from a Swedisn attack in 1781.
